ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Attorney Boyd D. Hudson is a partner at the firm of Adams, Hawekotte, & Hudson in Pasadena, California. Mr. Hudson serves clients throughout California and focuses his practice on business, corporate, estate, financial and tax planning. He has been licensed to practice law since 1979.
Mr. Hudson graduated cum laude from Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, California, with a degree in history and went on to earn his law degree from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law. Further expanding his education foundation, he also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Los Angeles Anderson School of Management and is certified as a specialist in taxation law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.
In addition to his role as a practicing attorney, Mr. Hudson is a certified public accountant. Before becoming a partner at Adams, Hawekotte, & Hudson, he practiced at two private California-based firms serving as the senior tax manager at both.
Along with running his practice, Mr. Hudson is passionate about staying involved in his legal community through membership in various professional organizations. He is a member of the Pasadena Bar Association and previously served as co-chair of the association’s taxation section. He is active in The State Bar of California and belongs to the organization’s estate planning, taxation, and trust and probate sections.
Mr. Hudson is also a member of the Pasadena CPA Discussion Group, the California Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
