This month's speaker is Bud Spencer from the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He will present on white collar crimes, and his presentation highlights “identity theft and fraud scams” in organized crime rings.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Bud Spencer is a Special Agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation with 20 years experience investigating Asian criminal enterprises involved in a wide range of criminal activity. Special Agent Spencer has provided presentations concerning: software and hardware counterfeiting operations; the manufacture and smuggling of counterfeit United States currency; narcotics trafficking; identity theft; and international military weapons trafficking as well as legal classes at California State University, Fullerton.

Special Agent Spencer has received the Department of Justice Director’s Award for Outstanding Litigation and four United States Attorney’s Awards for Investigative Excellence. He was a civil defense litigator prior to joining the FBI and holds a Juris Doctorate and a Bachelor of Science in the field of economics.
